In close collaboration with its hotel partners, the business tourism team at Innovation et Développement économique Trois-Rivières can recommend efficient, affordable accommodation and meeting solutions, both in the city and its outskirts. More than 1,000 rooms make up its accommodation offering. Does your event require numerous rooms in more than one hotel? A state-of-the-art interactive convention and event centre
Located in the heart of downtown Trois-Rivières, beginning in Fall 2018, the Conference and Event Centre for Interactive Experience (CECI) will welcome both small and large events. With its enormous hall – large enough to accommodate 1,600 delegates – and its 7,000 ft2 ballroom, it will be one of the largest convention centres in Quebec. On the same site, delegates will have access to 240 hotel rooms, all upgraded to the highest standards of the Marriott chain.
A city with character
If your goal is to plan an unforgettable event, Trois-Rivières offers a host of captivating venues. A buffet at the Musée québécois de culture populaire, a cocktail reception on a river cruise boat, a historic excursion through the streets of Old Trois-Rivières, a training day at Amphithéâtre Cogeco…the possibilities are many and varied!
Trois-Rivières is also a great city for activities. From its shops, art galleries and museums to its pubs and recreation facilities, you’ll have trouble deciding how to fit everything in.
Enhance your event’s program with a tour of the city’s Old Prison accompanied by a former inmate, a behind-the-scenes look at a shift of a CIP employee at the Boréalis museum, a beer and cheese tasting led by an expert at microbrewery Le Temps d’une Pinte, or a city tour led by Baptiste Leblanc, a labourer at the long-closed paper mill who knows the history of Trois-Rivières like the back of his hand.
A city for foodies
Recognized for its culinary flair, Trois-Rivières is a delight for epicureans. You’ll find plenty of mouth-watering choices, from local to European to bistro cuisine.
