Forges-du-Saint-Maurice National Historic Site

Histoire
This national historic site contains the vestiges of the first iron and steel mill in Canada. It was established in 1730 and remained in operation for over 150 years.
 
Program and activities: guided tours with interpretive guides, tours of the Grande Maison and the blast furnace, sound and light show with a scale model of the village, foot path, picnic, access for disabled persons. Program of special activities during the summer months.
