Delta-de-la-St-Maurice.jpgTrois-Rivières is situated on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River, at the mouth of the Saint-Maurice. It takes its name from the three channels that form the Saint-Maurice River at this spot.

Pont.jpgThe city is located at the crossroads of highways 40 (east-west) and 55 (north-south). The Laviolette bridge overlooking the St. Lawrence offers access to the south shore.

Parc-national-du-Canada.jpgTrois-Rivières is the capital of the Mauricie region. The countryside abounds with lakes and forests. A veritable paradise for hunting and fishing, the forest is also a primary resource for industry in the region.

Information on buses from the international airports and directions for those travelling by car on the main highways are given below.

Note that the city of Trois-Rivières signals the presence of the Centre de congrès Delta as well as the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières beginning at exit 199 on Highway 40.

From Montréal-Trudeau (Dorval) airport to Trois-Rivières (via Orléans Express Bus: 1 888 999-3977)

  • Take the shuttle from Montréal-Trudeau airport to the central bus terminal in Montreal.
  • Transfer to a bus for Trois-Rivières.
  • Take the shuttle Aérobus (1 800 465-1213) from the Montréal-Trudeau airport to downtown Montreal.
  • Get off at the Montreal central bus terminal
  • Transfer to a bus for Trois-Rivières.

From Montréal-Trudeau (Dorval) airport to the Centre de congrès Delta de Trois-Rivières

  • Follow directions to 520 east / 40 / Côte de Liesse Highway, turn right at the junction.
  • Follow directions to get on Côte de Liesse Highway (about 700 metres farther on).
  • Stay on this highway for about 3 km, then take Highway 40 East.
  • Highway 40 east until Trois-Rivières (about 90 minutes).
  • Exit 199 from Highway 40 (downtown exit), turn right on St-Roch street
  • Turn left on Notre-Dame Centre street.
  • The Delta Trois-Rivières, Hôtel and Centre de congrès is located at 1620, Notre-Dame Centre street.

From Jean-Lesage international airport (Quebec City) to the Centre de congrès Delta de Trois-Rivières

  • Airport road south
  • Boulevard Charest going to Montréal, which becomes Highway 40 West
  • Highway 40 west until Trois-Rivières (about 75 minutes)
  • Exit 199 from Highway 40 (downtown exit), turn left on St-Roch street.
  • Turn left on rue Notre-Dame Centre street.
  • The Delta Trois-Rivières, Hôtel and Centre de congrès is located at 1620, Notre-Dame Centre street.

From Montreal to the Centre de congrès Delta de Trois-Rivières

  • Highway 40, going east
  • Exit 199, (downtown exit), turn right on rue St-Roch.
  • Turn left on rue Notre-Dame.
  • The Delta Trois-Rivières, Hôtel and Centre de congrès is located at 1620, Notre-Dame Centre street.

From Quebec City to the Centre de Congrès Delta de Trois-Rivières

  • Highway 40 West
  • Exit 199 (downtown exit), turn left on St-Roch street.
  • Turn left on rue Notre-Dame Centre street.
  • The Delta Trois-Rivières, Hôtel and Centre de congrès is located at 1620, rue Notre-Dame Centre street.

From Sherbrooke to the Centre de congrès Delta de Trois-Rivières

  • Highway 55 North
  • Highway 20 East
  • Exit 210, in the direction of Trois-Rivières
  • Highway 55 (becoming Highway 155) North; take Laviolette bridge.
  • Highway 40 East
  • Exit 199 (downtown exit); turn right on St-Roch street.
  • Turn left on rue Notre-Dame Centre street.
  • The Delta Trois-Rivières, Hôtel and Centre de congrès is located at 1620, rue Notre-Dame Centre street.

From La Tuque (and/or Saguenay - Lac-St-Jean ) to the Centre de congrès Delta de Trois-Rivières

  • Highway 155 south
  • Highway 55 south
  • Highway 40, going east
  • Exit 199 (downtown exit), turn right on St-Roch street
  • Turn left on rue Notre-Dame Centre street
  • The Delta Trois-Rivières, Hôtel and Centre de congrès is located at 1620, rue Notre-Dame Centre street.

From Montreal to the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières

  • Highway 40 East
  • Exit 198 (exit on boulevard des Récollets)
  • Take boulevard des Récollets going north (at right).
  • Go ahead on the boulevard until entrance to the university (on your right).

From Quebec City to the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières

  • Highway 40 West
  • Exit 199 (downtown exit); follow the sign "boulevard des Forges."
  • Turn right on boulevard des Forges.
  • Go ahead on the boulevard until entrace to the university (on your left).

From Sherbrooke to the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières

  • Highway 55 North
  • Highway 20 East
  • Exit 210 in the direction of Trois-Rivières
  • Highway 55 (becoming route 155) North; take Laviolette bridge.
  • Highway 40 East
  • Exit 198 (boulevard des Récollets exit)
  • Take boulevard des Récollets north (at right)
  • Go ahead on the boulevard up to the entrance to the university (on your right).
